Hi! My full name is Ekaterina Belkina, but usually, I go by a shorter version – Katja Belkina. When I was 15 I watched 'Hackers' and was deeply inspired by Angelina Jolie's character. That was the moment I knew I wanted to become a hacker. And, although, I did get a degree in computer science, I've built my career in advertising.
When I landed my first job at the agency, I saw the disruptive power of advertising. It can blow your mind. It can break your heart. That's why I try to preserve the hacker's mentality and engineer culturally meaningful content.
